SO, I'VE BEEN THINKING...
Musings on Theology, Discipleship, Spiritual Formation, and the Spiritually Forgotten

I'm a disciple of Jesus, the husband to Sarah, and the dad to Benji, Emily, and Oliver. It's been pointed out to me that when I teach, I tend to start conversations with "So, I've been thinking..." I'm usually thinking about theology, discipleship, spiritual formation (or Christification), and those who are typically forgotten when it comes to spiritual formation.
The world doesn't need another blog. And yet, here we are.
My conviction is that the deepest disciples make the widest impact. I believe as disciples of Jesus we will grow deeper as we mature in our biblical literacy, theological acumen, and spiritual disciplines (or, practices of Christification). I've found writing to be a profound way for me to clarify my thinking. It was a helpful process for me, and I heard positive feedback from others that my writing helped them think, too. So I want to keep writing in an effort to help all of us mature in our biblical literacy, theological acumen, and our Christification. My experiences as a husband, father, friend, and pastor have shaped and informed my perspectives.
This site is a tiny and obscure part of the internet where I will continue to clarify my thinking in a public forum with the intent of teaching, equipping, conversing with, and encouraging disciples of Jesus. So while the world doesn't need another blog, here we are.
I would love to hear your thoughts on what I write. I'd love to learn from your perspective, too. So feel free to reach out.
